Owner of Quilt; Sharon Hritz who says:  'Black and White and Red All Over' is my attempt to do red work by cheating with my embroidery machine.  I had fun first by doing the embroidery and then cutting and planning a way to assemble blocks to make a quilt.  I did not have a pattern.  I really like the challenge to go with the flow.

Owner of Quilt; Kathy Harvey...this one is mine.  It was a mystery quilt from the Thimbleberries group.  With the sheep and bunny patterns on the fabric, then quilting it with the moons, I thought about naming it 'bunnies jumping over the moon while counting sheep', but 'good night moon' seemed much easier to say!

Owner of Quilt; Sharon Hritz who says:  This quilt is the result of an assigned block to be shared for a drawing.  I didn't win the drawing but decided the block was a fun one to do and made an assortment of fish blocks and waited for inspiration.  I had the blocks for months waiting for a plan to formulate.  I went for an under the sea theme...Needed to design a couple of star fish to fill out the plan and make the quilt square.  I added sea weed and buttons for the fish eyes.  My daughter, Karin beaded a fish and seahorse and donated them to the finished project.
