My name is Jettis, I will be one year old on October 20, 2003.  I have lived with 'my boy', Steven since right before Christmas of 2002.  I was an early Christmas surprise for him...but I will be temporary in his life as I am a CCI dog.  That stands for Canine Companions for Independence.  You can find out all about their program by clicking on their web address here. www.caninecompanions.org It really is a great program and I am looking forward to going for my advance training probably in February.  Until then, my boy, Steven will continue to take care of me and train me.  Steven gets his instructions on how to train me from a special dog trainer named Chris Gentner.  My mom calls him the 'dog whisperer', cause dogs really listen to him!  You can contact him if you want help with your dog at blitzgent@aol.com .

My boy has really learned a lot about how to care for and train dogs in this program...he entered the project of raising me in the Orange County Fair this past summer and  won first place in their community service division!  And an article about my boy and I was in The Orange County Register on March 2, 2004.  If you'd like to see the article and his fair entry click here.
