Quilt maker; Kathy Harvey (me)  These blocks were from the 2003/4 Saturday Sampler Series at Leah's in Orange, CA.  You can make 12 blocks for the sign up fee as long as you take your completed block back each month at your assigned time, the next block (fabric and cutting instructions) are given to you.

This small table topper was a study for my eldest son's 'Delectable Mountain' quilt, which can be viewed on the 'about me' page and is going to be in the Road to California Quilt Show in Ontario in January 2004.  I finished this piece to give to Ellen Degeneres....and am thankful to Carolyn Mohanty for organizing such a fun day to see her show.

This quilt was made from blocks made by the members of West Coast Quilters for the pediatric cancer ward at Fountain Valley Hospital.  The group meets on the second Thursday evening of the month at Piecemakers in Costa Mesa and is looking for new members.  Contact me if you would like to join... all are welcome.

Owner of Quilt; Kathy Harvey...this one is mine.  It was a mystery quilt from the Thimbleberries group.  With the sheep and bunny patterns on the fabric, then quilting it with the moons, I thought about naming it 'bunnies jumping over the moon while counting sheep', but 'good night moon' seemed much easier to say!

Owner of Quilt; Sharon Hritz who says:  This quilt is the result of an assigned block to be shared for a drawing.  I didn't win the drawing but decided the block was a fun one to do and made an assortment of fish blocks and waited for inspiration.  I had the blocks for months waiting for a plan to formulate.  I went for an under the sea theme...Needed to design a couple of star fish to fill out the plan and make the quilt square.  I added sea weed and buttons for the fish eyes.  My daughter, Karin beaded a fish and seahorse and donated them to the finished project.
